Way back in March I planned a small get together for my boyfriend's 40th Birthday. He is a huge Chicago Blackhawks hockey fan so I decided to incorporate a small hockey puck theme into the party. I emailed pdf invitations, gave out hockey pucks as favors and had a cake made in the shape of a hockey puck. The cake was amazing! It was made by Luscious Layers Bakery and the party was held at Club Lucky restaurant. It was a lot of fun with family and friends.
This is so creative! I like the idea of emailing the pdf invite...kind of an in-between when you don't want to mail out real invites, but an evite is just a little too impersonal.
I am outgoing and creative and currently work as a Project Coordinator and Media Buyer for a Graphic Design/Advertising firm in Chicago. I moved from South Louisiana to Chicago in 2004 and absolutely love the city. I miss Louisiana's culture and people but enjoy reflecting both in the parties I plan. I'm also presently working on receiving my certification in Event Planning. Please feel free to email me with any questions or if you have any suggestions or comments I'd love to hear them.
